Airy, new-fashioned room with a private bathroom and a shower, a hair dryer, and bathrobes. Location not far from the ferry station, the center of town, and one the most beatiful lakes in the region. About 15 minutes walk from St Paul's Church

I chose Seehotel Billroth specifically for its proximity to the stunning Pfarrkirche St. Gilgen. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention the kitchen team paid to sourcing high-quality ingredients for their delicious dishes. The use of local specialties made from first-class ingredients, often delivered from just a few kilometers away, was truly impressive. Additionally, the culinary delights served on the cozy terrace with a lake view were a delightful dining experience. The rich breakfast buffet, including freshly squeezed juices, homemade muesli, and freshly prepared egg dishes, was a perfect start to each day. The restaurant's offering of Austrian and international cuisine, as well as regional specialties from the Salzkammergut region, paired with fine Austrian wines, made for a memorable gastronomic journey. I also appreciated that Seehotel Billroth provided individual, diet-aligned menus for food intolerances.

Our stay at Park Hotel Billroth was absolutely delightful. The stunning views of the lake and mountains from our room terrace were simply breathtaking. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, making us feel like we were staying in a luxurious suite. The hotel's location in St. Gilgen was perfect, with easy walking distance to the center and convenient access to the beautiful boat house by the lake. The cleanliness of the hotel, including the rooms, was impeccable and deserving of praise. The hotel also offers great amenities like a tennis court and free bikes for guests to enjoy. The breakfast served on the hotel terrace each morning was a true highlight, not only for the delicious food but also for the magnificent view. The dinner at the hotel was also exceptional, with the talented chef preparing truly wonderful dishes. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as the lack of information provided upon check-in and the absence of an iron in the room, our overall experience at Park Hotel Billroth was exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable stay in St. Gilgen.

Perfect location, with a breathtaking view from the room and restaurant. The staff is very nice and friendly, always willing to help. The rooms, although basic, are clean and comfortable. The lobby feels like being in an old castle, with comfy sofas. The bar may not have been open, but the waiter served us in the lobby and even allowed us to play our own music. The food was excellent, especially the rainbow trout. The breakfast and buffet lunch were also very good. The property is beautiful, with a large park-like setting. The Jr. Suite was spacious and had two balconies. The manager and staff were friendly and helpful. St. Gilgen is a pretty lakeside village.
